AP/AR Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AP/AR Manager to lead our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. The role involves overseeing daily financial transactions, ensuring accurate billing, collections, and vendor payments while supporting cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise AP and AR operations, including daily transaction processing.
• Monitor customer billing, invoicing, collections, receipts and outstanding balances.
• Oversee vendor invoice processing, payment schedules, and supplier reconciliations.
• Prepare and track AR/AP aging reports and follow up on overdue items.
• Perform customer, vendor and bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate with Sales, Commercial, Operations and Procurement on billing and payment matters.
• Monitor ISP subscription revenue, recurring billing and ensure accurate recording.
• Review and verify invoices, credit and debit notes before posting.
• Produce weekly/monthly AP & AR reports, collection reports and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Ensure proper month‑end closing, accruals and account reconciliation.
• Develop and improve AP/AR processes, internal controls and payment/collection procedures.
• Supervise, coach and evaluate AP/AR team members.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in AP/AR or supervisory roles.
• Experience in the Telecom/ISP/Technology industry is highly preferred.
• Professional qualifications such as LCCI, ACCA or CPA are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of accounting/ERP systems.
