Accountant – Financial Reporting & Inventory Management

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting records (AR, AP, GL)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Handle journal entries and account reconciliations
• Process supplier invoices and payments
• Maintain proper documentation for all transactions
• Track inventory movements and reconcile stock records
• Support stock audits and variance analysis
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash forecasts
• Perform bank reconciliations regularly
• Manage petty cash and company expenses
• Maintain proper internal control procedures
• Ensure compliance with company policies
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Provide insights on cost control and financial performance

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (B. Com or LCCI Level III preferred)
• 3–5 years of accounting experience (FMCG or Trading Company preferred)
• Experience with inventory accounting is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Honest and trustworthy
• Good teamwork and communication skills
