Programme Policy Officer (EPR & URT)

About the role

The Programme Policy Officer (EPR & URT) will support policy and programme activities that meet food assistance needs in Myanmar. Reporting to the Outcome Manager and the Head of Programme, the incumbent will lead the URT/EPR team and coordinate with multiple operational functions.

Key responsibilities

• Overall programme management of all URT and EPR activities, including strategic planning of monthly food and cash distributions.
• Prepare for and respond to emergencies, leading the URT/EPR team.
• Collaborate with the Vulnerability Analysis and Mapping (VAM) team to target and prioritize the most vulnerable groups in Myanmar.
• Coordinate with finance, supply chain, budget, programming and area offices to ensure operational excellence.
• Lead preparedness work and respond to unforeseen emergencies.

Required profile

• Experience in managing humanitarian food and cash assistance programmes.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with multiple operational support functions.
• Familiarity with vulnerability analysis and targeting processes in emergency contexts.
