Monitoring and Reporting Analyst – Fixed-Term (Re‑advertisement)

About the role

The Monitoring and Reporting Analyst will support UN Women’s Myanmar Country Office in embedding robust monitoring and reporting processes into programme design and delivery. Reporting to the Representative, the analyst will help track progress against strategic targets and ensure results are communicated to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate the integration of monitoring and reporting components into programme formulation.
• Develop monitoring indicators, calendars, field monitoring plans and quality‑assurance procedures.
• Incorporate evaluation findings and recommendations into programme design.
• Support partners in creating Performance Monitoring Frameworks, baseline surveys and related tools.
• Assist in the development and review of project results frameworks and management tools.
• Coordinate donor agreement clearance and monitor quarterly data submissions from partners.
• Provide technical input for annual work‑plan monitoring, reviews and reporting.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in programme monitoring, evaluation or reporting within development or humanitarian contexts.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with diverse partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Familiarity with UN Women strategic objectives and gender‑focused programmes.

Required skills

• Experience designing monitoring indicators and data collection tools.
• Ability to develop and manage performance monitoring frameworks.
• Proficiency in preparing analytical reports for donor and internal audiences.
