M&E Technician

About the role

The M&E Technician will be based on‑site in Yangon, providing full‑time operation, maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems across bank branches and facilities. The role ensures safety, reliability and compliance with standards while supporting day‑to‑day banking operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair HVAC, lighting, power distribution and related equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot faults and perform preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and upgrades.
• Respond promptly to service requests from branch staff.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report issues to supervisors.
• Support facility upgrades and occasional off‑hour critical maintenance.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, panels and power distribution.
• Practical experience with mechanical systems such as HVAC, pumps, motors and building services.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and equipment specifications.
• Experience implementing preventive‑maintenance schedules and safety checks.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance logging and email communication.
