Data Analyst – Retail & FMCG

About the role

The Data Analyst will join Myanmar Indo Best Company Limited’s North Dagon office, supporting the FMCG, retail and fashion divisions by turning raw data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean and integrate data from multiple business units.
• Build reports and interactive dashboards for performance tracking.
• Perform statistical analysis, forecasting and trend identification.
• Develop data models to support decision‑making and risk assessment.
• Prepare clear presentations and summaries for senior management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements.
• Recommend data‑driven improvements to operations and strategy.
• Maintain data accuracy and adhere to data‑governance standards.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with solid knowledge of statistics.
• Experience working with large retail, FMCG or multi‑branch datasets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business or related field (preferred).
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within diverse teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
