Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to manage financial operations for our engineering and construction projects. The role involves handling cash, payments, and bank transactions while ensuring accurate record‑keeping and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Handle cash requests, payments, and bank transactions.
• Verify invoices, quotations, approvals and supporting documents.
• Maintain accounting records using Excel and Odoo.
• Monitor project‑related costs, budgets and expenses.
• Prepare financial reports such as P&L, balance sheet and management reports.
• Manage accounts receivable, payable and perform reconciliations.
• Conduct stock and asset tracking with proper documentation.
• Perform month‑end closing and adjustment entries.
• Coordinate with operations and management for financial updates.
• Support audit, tax and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills; Odoo experience preferred.
• Good analytical and reporting abilities.
• Experience in project or construction accounting is an advantage.
