Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst (Database)

About the role

The Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst (Database) will join the UNOPS‑managed Community Resilience Project in Myanmar. The role is responsible for designing, building and maintaining a robust M&E database that supports evidence‑based decision‑making across a four‑year development initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Design and construct a secure, scalable database system for program data.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity and confidentiality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Consolidate monitoring reports, create visual dashboards and perform complex data analyses.
• Lead Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) activities, including data verification and survey support.
• Provide technical assistance to implementing partners and the Project Management Unit on data collection, entry and reporting.
• Document lessons learned and support adaptive management of project interventions.

Required profile

• University degree in statistics, data science, economics, public health, international development or a related field.
• Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation, database management and data analysis within development programmes.
• Ability to work in a challenging, multi‑partner environment and travel to project sites as needed.
