IT Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all IT projects, managing Change Requests (CRs), and ensuring meticulous planning and tracking of budgets and project timelines. This role requires collaboration with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver projects successfully within scope, schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Create detailed project plans, allocate resources and set timelines.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are on time.
• Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders and senior management.
• Coordinate and prioritize Change Requests across IT systems and track them from initiation to closure.
• Develop and manage budgets for projects and CRs, tracking actual spend against approved budgets.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans.
• Facilitate project meetings, resolve issues and escalate critical risks when needed.
• Maintain strong relationships with business units, IT teams and external vendors.
• Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and implement best practices.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance standards and maintain project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Relevant project management qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT Project Management or related roles.
• Proven track record in end‑to‑end delivery of digital projects such as custom application development.
• Familiarity with IT systems, lifecycle management and budgeting principles.
• Basic understanding of Agile, Scrum or Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
