About the role
The Stock Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that stock movements follow FIFO principles. This role works closely with the Warehouse Manager and Finance department to support inventory planning and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages and overstock situations.
- Ensure inventory aligns with FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager on inventory planning and report stock balances to finance.
Required profile
- Any graduate, preferably with an accounting background.
- LCCI Level II completed.
- Strong analytical, documentation and data‑entry abilities.
- Understanding of the stock movement lifecycle.
- Effective communication and coordination with other departments.
Required skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of telecom/network equipment.
