Merchandiser – Field Activation

About the role

Ensure products are displayed effectively, stocked, and priced correctly in retail stores to maximize sales. Arrange displays according to planograms, rotate stock, monitor inventory levels, and implement promotional campaigns. Act as a liaison between the client and stores, analysing sales data to optimise product placement.

Key responsibilities

• Stock shelves, clean displays and maintain proper inventory rotation to avoid expired products.
• Set up attractive promotional displays and follow planograms to enhance product visibility.
• Act as a liaison between the customer and DKSH, executing sales activities such as order taking, marketing display set‑ups and in‑store merchandising.
• Prepare quotations, tender prices and commercial terms in line with company policies.
• Report competitor activities, monitor pricing, marketing actions and profit margins.
• Record sales data, maintain customer information in CRM systems and log customer complaints for follow‑up.
• Monitor warehouse inventory levels and submit comprehensive inventory reports.
• Drive continuous learning and improvement in field sales and DKSH behaviours.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of the industry, market, competitors and customers.
• Understanding of assigned territories, products and services with strong selling skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Basic research and analytical skills.
• Fluency in the local language and preferably English, both written and spoken.
• Graduate degree with up to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
