Junior Automation Engineer

About the role

Centurion Systems is looking for a Junior Automation Engineer to support the development of AI‑driven automation solutions across the organisation. Working under senior engineers, you will help identify automation opportunities, build and deploy agents on the internal AI platform, and ensure smooth operation of automated workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Observe, document and map existing processes in Sales, HR, Finance, Technical Support, Production and Marketing.
• Identify, scope and prioritise AI and automation opportunities that reduce manual effort, cycle time or error rates.
• Build, test and deploy automation agents and workflows on the company’s AI platform following defined standards.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the internal AI platform, including model gateway, agent runtimes and retrieval services.
• Implement integrations between the AI platform and business systems such as ERP, CRM, ticketing and knowledge bases.
• Monitor platform usage, cost and performance, resolve routine issues and escalate incidents as needed.
• Prepare and run evaluation and regression test sets for deployed automations.
• Document processes, solutions and design decisions for knowledge transfer.
• Provide first‑line support to departmental users and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions and knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a strong interest in AI and automation.
• Ability to work under guidance of senior engineers and collaborate with multiple business departments.
• Good documentation habits and attention to data‑privacy, classification and audit requirements.
