Assistant Manager, Agency Management

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Agency Management will drive sales and recruit high‑calibre candidates to meet key targets in Mandalay. This senior position leads the development and startup of the agency district while ensuring motivational programs and training are in place to support growth.

Key responsibilities

• Establish sales and referral networks with local businesses to maximize value from connections.
• Lead and motivate talent for the development and startup of the agency district.
• Implement sales training and orientation programs for new hires as the operation expands.
• Assess the business landscape and adjust the Sales & Promotion program accordingly.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term business plans that meet objectives.
• Manage and monitor team performance to ensure continuous, sustainable growth.
• Contribute to overall Agency Distribution management and provide strategic recommendations.
• Manage and execute projects impacting the entire agency’s operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 8 years of sales experience.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in sales management, promotion, training & development, or senior management.
• Demonstrated ability to implement strategic distribution initiatives.
• Proven record of continuous growth and winning performance.
• Strong understanding of business diversity and insurance product basics.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to think beyond the status quo.
• Tech‑savvy and comfortable using digital tools.
